Catalin Iuga

Director

Catalin Iuga is a first-generation immigrant from Romania who has spent over three decades weaving together entrepreneurial leadership with ministry service. After arriving in the United States, he began serving in church ministry as a teenager, eventually becoming a founding team member of Mission One in Southern California, where he helped inspire Romanian youth to engage in community service.

A serial entrepreneur in the tech sector with both bachelor’s and MBA degrees, Catalin credits his ministry experience with shaping his approach to business through servant leadership, deep community understanding, and a focus on meaningful impact. In turn, the strategic planning, team building, and resource management skills developed through building businesses have strengthened his ability to serve effectively in nonprofit organizations.

For over 15 years, he has served on the Charity Cup ministry board, including leading two mission trips to Moldova. Currently, he serves on three nonprofit boards: Charity Cup, Make Life Count, and the Financial Tools Institute, where he applies both his business acumen and heart for service. Catalin and his wife are blessed with four children and remain committed to using their experiences as immigrants and professionals to serve both the Romanian diaspora and broader communities in need.
