President, Director
Adrian Ambrosie serves as pastor at Outreach for Jesus Church in Somerset, Kentucky, and has been part of the Charity Cup story from its very first mission in Moldova, back in 2001. Since 2025, he has taken on the leadership of the organization as President, bringing vision, energy, and a lifelong commitment to missions and transformation through the Gospel. A former professional soccer player in Romania, Adrian holds a UEFA A coaching license and has spent decades using sports as a tool for education, discipleship, and community building.
He believes deeply that sports can be a bridge to the heart, and that every tournament or event can become an open door for the Gospel.
His ministry and leadership have taken him across continents; from Eastern Europe to Africa, from Central America to the U.S.; raising up local leaders, serving alongside churches, and launching strategic projects that reach children, youth, families, orphans, and entire communities. Adrian’s heart beats for the next generation and for empowering others to make their lives count through faith and service. He leads by example, both on and off the field.
He is joyfully married to Mihaela, and together they have two wonderful children: Robert Emanuel (married to Melissa) and Elissa Ana Maria (married to Marius), both of whom are actively serving in ministry. Adrian is also a grandfather, and continues to dream big, believing that Romanians are called to bring the Gospel to all continents.
